Daniel Wilkinson, founder of DWilkinson&Company, has recently completed a deal to acquire S & R Rothwell Ltd, Chartered Accountants, in Bramhope near Leeds.
The acquisition comes as Simon Rothwell, owner of S & R Rothwell, retires.
The practice looked after a range of clients, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. All the clients will now be serviced from DWilkinson&Company's Leeds office.
Daniel and Simon have been busy speaking to all the clients over the past couple of weeks to inform them of the changes and answer any questions they may have.
Speaking about the acquisition, Daniel said, “I'm delighted to have brought the S & R Rothwell clients under the DWilkinson&Company umbrella. Not only has this given these clients peace of mind that their accounts and tax affairs will continue to be well-managed, but it has also given Simon (Rothwell) peace of mind that he can enjoy his retirement knowing that his long-serving clients will be well looked after.”
The team at DWilkinson&Company are busy getting to know these new clients, working closely with those who need their accounts finalised and self-assessment tax returns completed before the 31 January deadline.
The acquisition forms part of DWilkinson&Company's expansion strategy, with more growth planned for the future.
